Weekly Riff from The Sound and The Story - Josh Rand - Hell & Consequences

Josh Rand is a huge part of Stone Sour's heavy, yet uniquely melodic sound. Whether it's writing mosh-ready riffs, or shred-tastic lead guitar playing; Josh has a sound and style all his own. Much of his lead playing pairs his knowledge of exotic modes with his influence from 80s metal players. In this studio play-through, we'll see Josh performing his solo from the 2007 Stone Sour song "Hell & Consequences" where he showcases how he uses the Hungarian minor mode to give the solo a more Eastern sound.
